Hi there MM II. Are those stones the delightfully spelled Aquhorthies in Aberdeenshire? I'm sure I've seen those on my travels.

Mingin! I'm saying nothing about that prose you posted! Dearie me! As for the photies, I know you should build in stone if you hope to last, but most of yon boy's house is definitely missing! Hope your disease goes away. Hotboy

I say!

How wonderful of you all to visit my Mumblings, even if Ion missed off a generation from my initials. Quite understandable.

The stones in that snap are to be found at Stenness, on the so-called 'Mainland' island in the Orkney Islands, and, having thouroughly researched the matter, I will shortly reveal their original purpose.

MM - a better class of commenter you're attracting these days, someone who can spell. Well dun.

Apologies for misspell MM III. And I haven't seen those beauties, because travel to Orkney is incredibly expensive. One day, though.
