The Lake

We're off to the Lake for a few days. Have booked the Anglican, and we're looking forwards to some time away from the daily bustle of Kalimbuka. Should be back in time for the Super Test, though.

Cabbage is coming as well, and there's room in the bakkie for him, I suppose, if he doesn't mind sitting on the windsurfer. For some reason he has suddenly taken an interest in learning to swim.

See you shortly

Mingin! This post isn't disgusting at all, no crap, dead skinned rats, or anything. Jolly good! I've heard there may be a wind of change blowing your way. Forewarned and four arms, as they say! Hotboy

4 arms? Are you a deity too? I used to windsurf at Loch Lomond. Folk used to say they'd be too scared because it's such a deep lake. But you can drown in the bath.

Will you post some holiday snaps?

My Dear Hotboy and Robmcj,

If only the winds of change would blow again, and bring some pula (rain).

Unfortunately, due to my hush hush work, and other security reasons, I cannot post any photos of my own, but I will post a full report of my recent trip to the Lake.

Mingin'! You have inspired me to write a travel book about the bongo. I have never been there, but it doesn't matter. Fantastic words are all you need, I see. Do you have a word list or glossary? Descriptions might seem convincing if I can use some good words. Do you know any agents, by the way? Hotboy

My Dear Hotboy,

This website is looking for you!

An ex-colleague of mine from Soche Hill wrote some wonderful books about hereabouts.

And, of course, Sir Laurens, whom I never indeed bumped into, did likewise.

But, its more than a case of just a glossary you need, I must say, even for someone as literate and creative as yourself.

I tell you what! Fly out tomorrow, and I shall pick you up at Kamuzu.

I shall take you to Nkhata Bay. We can pick up supplies at the shopping centre.

Give me a bell.
