Mingin! It's starting to sound a bit like Glasgow, except there's no marina there. But there is a woman called Marion. Hotboy
p.s. Glasgow isn't built on a grid.
ppps I was only joking about Marion. She lives in Aberdeen. Is it Aberdeen?

It sounds like the Great Lakes, but if you like it, it's not Detroit. I'd go for Sleepless in Seattle or Choked in Chicago.
